Dr. Phil Gelatt is the Director of the High School Institute at the Ron Blue Institute for Financial Planning. In this position he seeks to build relationships with high school educators and provide leadership and direction for the future of the program. The HSI presently serves Christian schools in the U.S. and internationally, seeking to inspire high school students to live lives of stewardship, especially as they relate to purpose, personal finance, and leadership . Additionally, Phil is an adjunct faculty in Leadership Studies at IWU and Belhaven University.
Phil received his bachelor’s degree at Baptist Bible College in Religious Education (1979), a Master of Arts in Christian School Administration from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana (1988), and recently he completed his doctoral program in Organizational Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Phil brings much Christian education experience to his role, after spending twenty-nine years serving in Christian school ministry. His experience in education ranges from that of a teacher, coach, director, administrator, and more, resulting a breadth of knowledge and practice. Phil is passionate for Christian education and has experience and expertise in the areas of discipleship, student development, dual enrollment programing, mission statement creation and development, school culture, and life calling and leadership.
Phil and his wife, Elise, live in the Indianapolis area, where they attend Harvest Bible Chapel North Indy.
